Diego Costa reacts to Alvaro Morata’s Chelsea move

Morata was unveiled as Chelsea’s latest summer signing on Friday.

The 24-year-old Spanish international striker has left Real Madrid to join the Blues, in what may be one of the most significant summer signings in the Premier League.

Morata should replace Diego Costa in the Chelsea squad, after Antonio Conte told Costa his future with the Blues is over.

The transfer is expected to cost the Blues a fee in the region of 80 million euros plus bonuses, while Alvaro Morata has put pen to paper on a five year deal.


Costa reacts

After Chelsea announced Morata’s signing on social media, many eagle-eyed social media followers have noticed how Costa has reacted to the Blues’ latest signing.

The Spanish international striker ‘liked’ the Instagram post revealing Morata as a Blues player.



As for Costa, he’s still searching for his exit route out of Stamford Bridge.

Atletico Madrid want to re-sign the striker, however they are under a transfer embargo until the new year.
